Course in Transport and Logistics Employment Pathway is aimed at youth and school leavers as an initial pathway to a career in Transport and Logistics. This course has been developed in response to the future workforce needs of the Mallee region of Victoria; however its outcomes have application across other regions. Transport and logistics are critical to the success of a range of other industries, including agriculture, tourism and retail.

Course Delivery

This course will run for 6 weeks, 2 days per week. Starting on 15th July 2019 - 23rd August 2019. 8.00AM - 4.30PM including 1 hour lunch break each day and site visits to transport businesses across Mildura.

Entry Requirements

TLILIC2001 Licence to drive a forklift track has the following requirements: Minimum age requirement - 18 years, Good English language understanding and application (WorkSafe requirement), Physical ability to carry out manual handling. | Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals.
