This qualification allows individuals to develop post-trade skills and knowledge across a broad coverage of the horticulture industry prior to undertaking higher level roles in the workplace. The course is designed to be delivered flexibly with predominantly workplace based projects to suit the needs of individuals and their work schedules in the horticultural industry.
Job roles vary across different industry sectors and include: Supervision and management roles within the horticulture sectors.
Further training pathways from this qualification include, but are not limited to Diploma of Horticulture AHC50416.
Flexible off campus delivery with the option of joining scheduled classes for individual units if desired.
Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals.
